A POE-PROCESS AND TECHNOLOGY-SUPPORTED APPROACH TO TEACHING PROBABILITY IN HIGH SCHOOL

Abstract
In the context of comprehensive innovation in educational, the integration of teaching methods with technology is becoming common and essential. The POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) approach, when integrated with information technology specifically through the use of Random Number Generator in teaching probability at the high school, contributes to the creation of a sustainable learning environment. This environment enables students to experience and explore real-world situations, thereby actively constructing and developing their knowledge. Such integration demonstrates strong potential in fostering essential competencies, including critical thinking, problem solving, self directed learning, and independent workin core competencies that modern education strives to develop. This article underscores that the application of the POE approach supported by technology is not only an effective pedagogical solution, but also a strategic direction aligned with the goals of modern, flexible, and sustainable education in the digital education revolution.
