PHÂN TÍCH SWOT ĐỐI VỚI PHÁT TRIỂN KINH TẾ HUYỆN YÊN ĐỊNH (THANH HÓA) VÀ ĐỊNH HƯỚNG GIẢI PHÁP

Abstract

This paper applies the SWOT analysis model to evaluate the factors influencing the economic development of Yen Dinh District (Thanh Hoa). The findings indicate that, besides favorable geographical location, fertile alluvial soils, abundant labor resources, and a rich historical-cultural heritage, Yen Dinh still faces several limitations, such as partial infrastructural shortcomings, specialized labor quality issues, localized environmental pollution, and urbanization pressures. On the other hand, external factors bring about opportunities through investment attraction policies, market demand, and digital transformation; however, they also pose challenges related to investment competition, climate change, and resource degradation. Based on the SWOT matrix, the paper proposes a group of solutions focusing on infrastructure upgrades, sustainable management of resources and the environment, workforce training, and enhanced regional linkages, aiming to promote sustainable economic development in Yen Dinh District.
