Abstract

The article focuses on analyzing and evaluating the business performance of SMEs in Thanh Hoa province via secondary and primary data collected from Thanh Hoa SMEs. On the basis of assessing the achieved results and the limitations as well as causes, the author proposed a number of solutions to improve the business performance of SMEs in Thanh Hoa province in the coming time, including solutions to develop human resources and improve the quality of enterprise’s leaders, improve financial capacity for enterprises, improve science and technology level; solutions to improve the effectiveness of local supporting policies, promote investment in market research activities and enhance digital transformation to adapt to the new context.
