Main Article Content
Abstract
Developing time - orientation concepts is a crucial yet abstract cognitive task for children aged 5 - 6 years. This study investigates the current state of information technology (IT) integration in this area through a survey of 30 preschool teachers in Thanh Hoa Province. Empirical findings reveal that although most teachers demonstrate high awareness of the importance of IT integration, their practical competencies remain limited. None of the participants self - assessed as “highly proficient”, while 60% to 70% reported significant difficulties in designing interactive educational games and integrating digital technology into children’s experiential learning activities. Based on these findings, the paper proposes four pedagogical measures focusing on interactive digital materials and technology - integrated experiential activities to enhance the effectiveness of developing time - orientation concepts for preschool children.
