Abstract
Eva García Sáenz de Urturi is a prominent writer in contemporary Spanish literature. Urturi's detective novels have made a significant impact on the global literary scene. The Double Murder at the Garden of Eden is Urturi’s standout novel, marking the beginning of a bestselling detective series in Spain. This novel has been translated and introduced in Vietnam since 2023. This study focuses on analyzing the detective characteristics in the work through aspects such as plot, characters, and narrative techniques that create the detective effect. From there, the author highlights Urturi's success and contributions to the detective genre in world literature.
