Abstract

The tools and methods for assessing students’ academic performance are the concretization and realization of assessment scales into specific questions and exercises, aligned with the curriculum content for each grade and phase of learning. A good set of tools that ensures validity, reliability, and differentiation of student competence is a critical requirement. This article synthesizes the tools and methods for assessing student competence to serve as a reference for teachers at academic institutions in applying these strategies in the teaching and learning process.
