Abstract

The application of the Internet of Things (IoT) to build a water quality monitoring system for detecting pollution is one of the widely used methods. In addition to sensors, the system includes solar power panels, data transmitters, and receivers, and it also analyzes data sent to a web server to send alerts via SMS and email to users. The sensors monitor pH, temperature, and dissolved oxygen (DO). In this study, the authors implemented the IoT application at the monitoring station in Ngoc Lac district, providing essential indicators for monitoring water quality that can be compared with environmental standards to assess pollution levels. This enables reporting and recommendations for environmental managers and relevant organizations to develop effective and timely solutions.
