Abstract

Community-Based Tourism (CBT) development is the direction of many nations and locals, aiming to conserve and promote the traditional cultural values, preserve the environment and ecosystem. Thisstudy focuses on assessing the current state of CommunityBased Tourism development in Lang Chanh district, Thanh Hoa province, thereby considering the conditions for Community-Based Tourism development by surveying, gathering opinions from local citizents. The research uses fieldwork methods and in-depth interviews to collect data, and also uses the following methods: descriptive statistics,
analysis, comparison, etc. to process the collected data. From the results of this research, the authors propose solutions to promote the development of community tourism models in Lang Chanh district, Thanh Hoa province in the coming time.
