Abstract

To attract foreign direct investment (FDI) projects, it is necessary for provincial government to proactively carry out promotional activities to attract foreign investors. Through promotion activities, provincial authorities will provide foreign investors with provinces’ advantages, preferential policies, etc. In conformity with these bases, foreign investors will make decision to invest. Therefore, forms, tools and methods of investment promotion play a crucial role in attracting FDI projects. The article aims to analyze the investment promotion of Thanh Hoa province for the period of 2018 - 2022, pointing out the
achieved results, limitations and causes. From that, the paper proposes some solutions to improve investment promotion in Thanh Hoa province to2025 with a vision to 2030.
