Main Article Content
Abstract
The study aimed to evaluate the effects of different nitrogen fertilizer amounts and planting distances on the growth, development, yield and essential oil content of the medicinal herb Bo bo in Thanh Hoa. Research results show that the P3K2 formula (amount of nitrogen fertilizer: 220kg N/ha/year; planting distance: 20 x 15cm) positively affects the growth and development indicators of the tree: tree height reaches 65.4 cm, number of level I branches reaches 25.1 branches, canopy diameter reaches 33.1 cm, root diameter reaches 0.85 mm. The highest actual yield of medicinal herbs reached 3.42 tons/ha, essential oil content reached 1.2% (essential oil yield reached 41.04 kg/ha).
