Abstract
Dendrobium orchids rank second in the Orchidaceae family in terms of quantity and economic value. Among 16 samples of different native Dendrobium species collected from various provinces in Southern Vietnam and cultivated and preserved in orchid gardens in Hanoi, diversity has been evaluated at the morphological level. As a result, the collected Dendrobium orchid species exhibit a high level of diversity and richness. Flower colors vary widely: white, light yellow, yellow, deep yellow...; spots on the petals vary in number and color, ranging from brown to reddish-brown, with hairs, bumps, etc. This has significant implications for conservation efforts and breeding of economically and scientifically valuable orchid varieties.
