Abstract
The experiment was conducted during the Winter-Spring season to assess the effectiveness of Song Gianh microbial organic fertilizer on carrot cultivation in Thanh Hoa province. The experiment consisted of two factors: two carrot varieties (VL444F1 and TN391) and six application doses of Song Gianh microbial organic fertilizer (0; 0.5; 1.0; 1.5; 2.0; and 2.5 tons/ha). Results showed that the application of 2.0 to 2.5 tons of microbial organic fertilizer per hectare resulted in the highest carrot yields. Actual yields reached 27.4 to 27.5 tons/ha for variety VL444F1 and 24.5 to 24.6 tons/ha for variety TN391.
Furthermore, the results indicate that for variety VL444F1, the technical optimum level of microbial organic fertilizer application is 2.43 tons/ha, with an economic optimum level of 2.22 tons/ha. For variety TN391, the technical optimum amount of fertilizer is 1.93 tons/ha, with an economic optimum level of 1.74 tons/ha.
