Abstract
In our country, sugarcane is a crop that provides the main raw materials for the sugar industry and is considered one of the important crops in the agricultural structure of hilly, midland, and mountainous areas. In this study, the process of in vitro propagation of sugarcane varieties, including LS1, LK92-198, and VN001, which have high yield and sugar content, was completed. The starting material for the starter culture in all three varieties used was the top brush on MS medium. The rapid multiplication of sugarcane shoots in vitro is most suitable on the MS medium supplemented with 1 mg/l K and 1.5 mg/l BAP, resulting in a shoot multiplication coefficient ranging from 4.6 to 5.7 shoots per plant. The percentage of live plants successfully acclimatized out of the nursery was 97.7% on the substrate composed of 70% humus, 15% sand, 10% charred rice husk, and 5% phosphorus fertilizers.
