Abstract

Protecting the environment while developing the economy towards sustainable development is the most important goal defined by our Communist Party’. Being fully aware of the urgent requirement in the new era, the paper focuses on researching the viewpoints of the 12th Communist Party National Congress on the Environmental Protection and the guiding views of the Congress that aim to improve the effectiveness of environmental protection in Vietnam today. Consequently, the profound theoretical and practical meanings of the guiding views of the 12th Congress to the progress of industrialization and modernization of the country’ would be illuminated.
