Abstract
The article presents the current status of participation in ancestor worship activities in families of the elderly in Thanh Hoa province. Elderly people participate in ancestor worship and participate in educating their descendants about the value of ancestor worship in families. The survey results show that the elderly have an important role in the family's ancestor worship activities, they are the ones who connect and maintain values, from traditional to modern.
