KẾT QUẢ BƯỚC ĐẦU NUÔI TRAI NƯỚC NGỌT LẤY NGỌC TẠI TỈNH THANH HÓA

Abstract

The study was on 10,000 individuals of Triangle sail mussel Sinohyriopsis cumingii (Lea, 1852), with the method of transplanting the graft into the mantle and adding a spherical bead as a nucleus. Triangle sail mussel after surgery were cultured for 20 days in a tank then transferred to a pond in Quang Hop commune, Quang Xuong district and Dong Be lake, Trieu Thanh commune, Trieu Son district, Thanh Hoa province to cultivate until harvest. The results showed that the total number of mussels alive after 20 months was 6.093 and gave 10.650 pearls. In which, in Quang Hop, the number of harvested mussels was 3.176, the number of pearls harvested was 5.400 pieces, reaching an average of 1.7 pieces/one mussel in Dong Be Lake the number of harvested missels was 2.917, the number of pearls harvested was 5.250 pieces, on average it was 1.8 pieces/ one mussels.
