Abstract

Buddhism often refers to real truth, egolessness, peace, predestination and see these philosophies as the key points. Vietnamese poetry from 1945 to the present period absorbing the Buddhist spirit has shown that the equal relationship among people, love and lack of love, life and death, the outer world and the world etc. all exist right “here” and “now”. This can be surveyed and clearly seen through the poetry of Buddhistinfluenced authors from 1945 to present such as Quach Tan, Bui Giang, Pham Thien Thu, Nhat Hanh, Vien Minh, TK. Thien Huu, Nguyen Duc Son, Minh Duc Trieu Tam Anh, Tieu Vien, etc. The article aims to clarify the philosophy of truth and joyful peace spirit in modern Vietnamese poetry through a number of typical authors.
