Abstract

The study aims to determine the factors affecting the interest of students in Hong Duc University. The survey method by the questionnaire that is combined with an online survey was used to collect data of 207 students enrolling in 2019-2020 academic year of HongDuc University. The exploratory factor analysis methods EFA and linear regression were applied to analyze the data. The results show that many factors affect the interests of students in the university. The factors are sequenced from greater to smaller scale: (1) communication with enterprises, (2) training program, (3) facilities, (4) reputation. (5) the quality of lecturers, (6) the cost of studying, (7) job opportunities. From the research results, we propose some solutions to attract students to the university.
