Abstract

Under the combined influence of factors: geographical location, natural and socio­ economic resources, investment capital and development strategies, the territory of 559,21 km2 of Thach Thanh has a very unique territorial picture, diversified with General economic territory and sectoral economic territory. The general group of territories has developed territory (including 4 sub-regions, 3 urban areas and 2 economic corridors), some of territories developed to a limited extent and some are banned from development. The sectoral group of territories includes: industrial territories (2 clusters and 1 industrial park), agricultural territories (farm households, 746 farms, 47 cooperatives, 01 agricultural enterprise- industry and a lot of specialized agricultural areas) and service sectors (with markets, supermarkets, trade centers, spots and tourist areas.
