Abstract

This paper analyzes the potential development of the private economy in Cam Thach commune, Thanh Hoa province, during the period 2025–2030 with an orientation toward 2045. Based on the synthesis of secondary data and field surveys, the study reveals that the private sector plays an increasingly important role in job creation, income generation, and local budget contributions. Alongside opportunities such as geographical advantages, human resources, and expanding market demand, there remain several limitations including small-scale production, weak linkages, limited technological application, and insufficient managerial capacity among household businesses, private enterprises, and cooperatives. The findings not only reaffirm the role of the private sector in socio-economic development at the grassroots level but also provide managerial implications to enhance policy support and create favorable conditions for sustainable private sector growth in the future.
