Abstract

Thanh Hoa is a province with the advantage of having a seaport, which is highly suitable for the development of logistics activities. When seaports participate in the logistics service chain, it integrates port operations, maritime transport, and maritime services in providing logistics services. Therefore, the development of logistics human resources for logistics companies in Thanh Hoa is a top priority. However, the knowledge and skills of logistics human resources in Thanh Hoa show a clear disparity compared to the demand, and the logistics workforce in the province does not meet most of the requirements, such as skills in information technology, foreign languages, and the ability to use logistics software, among others. Therefore, this article aims to describe the current situation and propose solutions to develop logistics human resources for Thanh Hoa’s enterprises in the context of global economic integration and strong digital transformation.
