Abstract

In the context of digital transformation, developing career adaptability competence for students majoring in Early Childhood Education is necessary, as they need not only to master core professional competences but also to adjust their professional practices in response to changes in the educational environment. This study employed document analysis and a questionnaire survey with 168 Early Childhood Education students at Hong Duc University (N = 168). Data were processed using descriptive statistics and Cronbach’s Alpha reliability testing. The results show that students rated themselves at high or very high levels across the surveyed variable groups; specifically, the training programme and educational activities group had the highest mean score (M = 4.333), whereas the perceived influencing factors group had the lowest mean score and the largest dispersion (M = 3.859; SD = 1.186). These findings indicate that the support conditions for developing students’ career adaptability competence are not yet sufficiently consistent and suggest the need for further verification in specific situations of caring for and educating young children.
