Abstract

The study focuses on the difficulties students faced when they studied the interpreting course. The data have shown that in terms of the time duration, content, and the quality of the audio file, students do not meet many difficulties. However, in terms of vocabulary, the speed of the voice and note-taking skills they have faced a lot of challenges. From that base, we offer some suggests basic solutions from the university, the lecturer, the students’ perspectives. It is concluded that, beside the content of the course, the lecturer should focus on a well-prepared program to help students develop multiple skills in interpreting. Apart from that, students should practise interpreting frequently outside the classroom to improve such a complicated skills.
