Abstract

Independence is one of the important qualities in the psychology of human personality.
Educating children to be independent is a necessity for children in modern society. Thanks to their autonomy, children easily participate in activities, social relationships at home, school and community. The article clarifies the concept of independence and independence of 4-5 year old children; experience; experiential education for preschool children; Developing criteria and scale for the level of independence of 4-5 year old children in educational activities at preschool. Designing case studies as a tool to measure the independence of 4-5 year olds in play and work activities to illustrate the process of assessing the independence of children of 4 -5 in the research process, contributing to improving the effectiveness of children's independence education, the quality of child care, nurturing and education in preschool.
