Abstract

Applying the 5E model in organizing educational activities for children in preschools according to the STEAM approach is really necessary, Helps children have the opportunity to explore, experience, share or actively apply knowledge, propose ideas, and solve situations related to children's real life. With the purpose of improving teachers' capacity when approaching STEAM in preschool education, in the study we conducted to clarify the nature of STEAM education in preschool education, the 5E model and its application in organizations. Educational activities for children following the STEAM educational approach, cognitive characteristics of 5 - 6 year old children, From there, we propose a process for applying the 5E model in organizing learning activities for 5 - 6 year old children in kindergarten according to the STEAM approach and applying planning to organize learning activities for 5 - 6 year old children (in the field of cognitive development area), enriching learning data about STEAM education in Early Childhood Education, contributing to realizing the goals of the Early Childhood Education program, meeting the requirements of innovation in education and the trend of development of society.
