Abstract

From cinamaldehyde reacting with aromatic ketones in strong acid or base environment, 8 unsaturated α, β-ketone compounds are obtained. These compounds have been measuredby IR, ¹H NMR, ¹³C NMR, HSQC, HMBC, MS to determine their structure. Analytical results show that unsaturated β-ketones have a trans-trans structure, some are enolized.
