APPLICATION OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN CRISIS COMMUNICATION MANAGEMENT AT GENERAL EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS IN THE MEKONG DELTA OF VIETNAM

Abstract
This study examines the current application of digital technologies in crisis communication management at general education institutions in the Mekong Delta of Vietnam. A quantitative survey was conducted with 630 school administrators, teachers, and staff. The findings indicate that awareness and digital competencies in crisis communication management were at a high level. However, 80.6% of respondents reported that their schools either lacked formal crisis communication procedures or had procedures that were not widely disseminated, while 51.7% had never received training in crisis communication management. Based on these findings, the study proposes the DCCM-EDU model to enhance crisis communication management in schools within the context of educational digital transformation.
