Abstract
Teaching through activities is the most effective method and pathway for developing students' character and capabilities. Integrated informational texts are a common type of text in social life and were first introduced into the teaching curriculum of Vietnamese Language in 2018, following the principle of concentricity and enhancement. Surveys of teaching hours in high schools show that teachers engage in activities such as lecturing, explaining information, and imparting knowledge directly from the text, while students' learning activities tend to lack focus on skill and capability development, and are loosely
connected to lesson requirements and the characteristics of integrated informational texts.
