Abstract

The concept of informational text has only appeared in the general education curriculum of Literature in 2018, is a very popular type of text in social life and has an important position in the organized high school. teaching at all three levels of learning according to the principle of concentricity and enhancement. On the basis of researching concepts, characteristics of informational texts, teaching content and requirements for reading comprehension of informational texts, modern educational theories are applied in Chinese educational programs. In elementary school in 2018, the article proposes principles and teaching methods to develop students' reading comprehension of informational texts.
The research results of the article contribute to solving the difficulties and confusion of teachers and students in the first years of implementing new programs and textbooks with the orientation of developing the ability to read and understand informational texts for students. students, improving the quality of English language teaching in schools.
