Abstract

Developing debate skills for students is an important and necessary issue in the current period. Developing debate skills, students can improve their ability to criticize, be creative, and know how to solve multi-dimensional problems. Teaching speaking and listening has great potential in developing this skill. However, the debate skills of students at ethnic minority boarding secondary schools in Thanh Hoa province are still limited. Starting from that situation, we propose a number of measures to develop debate skills for students in teaching speaking and listening, meeting the goal of educational innovation and in accordance with the integration context of the times.
