Abstract

Võ Quảng’s novel Quê nội presents a vivid portrait of the everyday life of people in Quảng land while strongly reflecting the region’s cultural identity. This paper focuses on analyzing key aspects such as religious life, customs and traditions, festivals, and folk games. Through these depictions, the work not only revives traditional values and a strong sense of community cohesion but also highlights social transformations in which many outdated practices were replaced with more positive changes. Quê nội, therefore, is not only a work of artistic value but also a valuable cultural document that affirms the enduring vitality of Vietnam’s folk culture.
