Abstract

Nguyen Khai is regarded as one of the pioneering writers who made significant contributions to the theme of workers and industry in modern Vietnamese literature. His works on laborers, particularly in the period 1960 - 1975, vividly portray the image of the worker with profound ideological depth and artistic value. This paper outlines the fundamental features of worker-themed literature within the flow of Vietnamese literary history, and provides an in-depth analysis of worker characters in Nguyen Khai’s prose, thereby clarifying his artistic style and contributions to this subject.
