Abstract

This article studies the characteristics of short stories by Tu Nguyen Tinh, a writer from Thanh Hoa province, a member of the Vietnam Writers Association, and a recipient of numerous literary and artistic awards in various genres. His choice of realistic material (the lives of rural people), combined with a calm, emotional, and sincere writing style, along with philosophical reflections, and above all, his ability to resolve sadness, tragedies, and ironies of human fate with a kind and warm heart, creates a unique mark on his short stories. Reading Tu Nguyen Tinh's stories, readers feel that the pages of life always sparkle with faith and have the power to “heal”, bringing peace to the heart and filling us with hope for life.
