DEVELOPING A MODEL OF FACTORS INFLUENCING GREEN MANAGEMENT IN TOURISM ENTERPRISES

Abstract

Green management has increasingly become both a strategic imperative and an inherent necessity for enterprises seeking the dual objectives of economic growth and environmental protection, thereby advancing sustainable development. This study focuses on developing a theoretical framework of factors influencing green management in tourism enterprises, and subsequently proposes a formal research model to support in-depth analysis and inform solutions for promoting green transformation and governance. The empirical results, based on a survey of 225 observations, indicate that the following factors exert a positive influence on green management practices in tourism enterprises: awareness level, leadership capability, financial capacity, equipment and technology, institutional and policy frameworks, green tourism trends, and government supportGreen management has increasingly become both a strategic imperative and an inherent necessity for enterprises seeking the dual objectives of economic growth and environmental protection, thereby advancing sustainable development.
