STUDENTS’ RESPONSES TO SUPPLEMENTARY AI-AIDED LISTENING MATERIALS

This study investigates EFL learners’ responses to AI-aided listening materials at a private English center in Vietnam. Thirty-five B1-level students participated in a 12-week course integrating AI-supported materials with regular instruction. Data from a questionnaire and interviews revealed generally positive perceptions of the AI-aided materials, which helped reduce listening difficulty and anxiety. AI-assisted videos that combined audio and visual support helped students understand better and feel more confident when they were listening. Overall, the findings suggest that AI-aided listening materials can effectively support EFL instruction when thoughtfully integrated into teacher-guided practice.
