Abstract

This study analyzes primary and secondary data to understand the current state of ESG practices at Eximbank. The study finds that Eximbank has initially integrated ESG into governance through the development of an Environmental and Social Management System, the development of green credit, and the improvement of risk management mechanisms in accordance with international best practices. However, there is a lack of linking published indicators to KPIs, the absence of a dedicated department, and the lack of a framework for interaction with stakeholders regarding sustainable development. The author proposes solutions to improve the ESG governance system and standardize information disclosure to enhance the effectiveness of ESG implementation at Eximbank for the coming years.
