FACTORS AFFECTING THE DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF TOURISM ENTERPRISES IN SAM SON AND NAM SAM SON WARDS

Abstract

In the digital economy era, digital transformation (dx) plays a crucial role in helping tourism enterprises enhance their competitiveness and adapt flexibly to market fluctuations. this study focuses on measuring the impact level of antecedent factors on the dx process in small and medium-sized tourism enterprises (smes) in sam son and nam sam son wards. applying a quantitative research method based on survey data from 168 enterprises, combined with a rigorous statistical testing process using spss 22.0 software, the empirical results have clarified seven main groups of factors acting as positive drivers for digital transformation within these enterprises. based on data analysis, the article proposes some management recommendations for enterprises and local authorities to support and accelerate the digital transformation process of the tourism industry in sam son and nam sam son wards.
