APPLICATION OF GENERATIVE AI IN DEVELOPING DIGITAL LEARNING MATERIALS FOR MULTIMEDIA COMMUNICATIONS
Main Article Content
Abstract
In the context of digital transformation in higher education and the rise of Generative AI, innovating the digital learning material development process has become essential, particularly in Multimedia Communications. This study proposes an AI-integrated model for learning material design and implements an empirical pilot in a specific course. The findings indicate that AI integration optimizes design time, enhances visual presentation and content structuring, while significantly boosting student engagement and self-study capabilities. However, the study also highlights challenges regarding information reliability and academic vetting requirements. The proposed model contributes empirical evidence on the applicability of Generative AI in developing digital learning materials for higher education.
