Thoái hóa là dạng viêm khớp phổ biến nhất và thường xảy ra ở khớp gối. Mặc dù các mô hình mạng nơ-ron nhân chập (CNN) đã được sử dụng rộng rãi trong phân tích ảnh y học, nhưng việc ứng dụng 3D CNN trong chẩn đoán thoái hoá khớp gối vẫn còn hạn chế. Nghiên cứu này sử dụng mô hình 3D CNN để phân tích chuỗi ảnh cộng hưởng từ (MRI) khớp gối và phân loại mức độ thoái hoá theo thang đo Kellgren–Lawrence, từ mức 0 đến mức 4. Kết quả thực nghiệm của chúng tôi chỉ ra rằng mô hình 3D CNN, khai thác đặc trưng không gian giữa các lát cắt trong ảnh cộng hưởng từ, cho hiệu quả cao hơn so với mô hình CNN truyền thống 2D, qua đó khẳng định tiềm năng của MRI kết hợp 3D CNN trong nâng cao độ chính xác chẩn đoán thoái hóa khớp gối trên lâm sàng.
