As a result, this species is widely used in traditional medicine. Currently, this species has been identified as one of the medicinal plants containing bioactive compounds capable of combating certain diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and digestive disorders. Therefore, the use of DNA barcoding to identify Croton kongensis in particular, and medicinal plants in general, has been the focus of many researchers both domestically and internationally. DNA barcoding is a technique that uses a specific DNA sequence (approximately 400–1000 bp) as a marker to determine phylogenetic relationships and identify species quickly and accurately. This approach not only enables pharmacologists to rapidly and accurately identify medicinal plants but also helps in detecting counterfeit medicinal species or rare species that need conservation. In this study, we focus on identifying Croton kongensis Gagnep. using the trnH DNA barcode sequence. Dinh Chac Le ledinhchac@hdu.edu.vn Thi Lam Le Abstract Molecular markers (DNA barcodes) used for identifying medicinal plant species are considered highly reliable and widely applicable, particularly for taxa of pharmacological importance. Accordingly, DNA barcoding has become an indispensable tool in taxonomic research and conservation. Fundamentally, a DNA barcode is a DNA sequence of approximately 400-1000 bp that serves as a molecular marker for rapidly and accurately determining phylogenetic relationships and species identity, independent of morphological characteristics of specimens. In this study, we isolated and sequenced the rpoB gene of Vernonia amygdalina Del. (commonly known as bitter leaf) and assessed its genetic relationships as a basis for subsequent investigations. The amplified rpoB fragment was 506 bp in length and was used for comparative analysis against published rpoB sequences in GenBank. The results showed that the rpoB sequence of our sample formed a completely distinct genetic lineage, separate from all previously published rpoB sequences. This finding demonstrates that the rpoB sequence of the studied specimens exhibits substantial genetic divergence relative to GenBank data. To achieve optimal seed yield and quality for Abelmoschus sagittifolius (Kurz) Merr plants, several technical measures should be implemented, including the use of the growth regulator Thien Nong, which contains 2% Alpha-Naphthalene Acetic Acid, 0.5% Beta-Naphtoxy Acetic Acid, and 0.1% Gibberrellic Acid GA-3: 100g mixed with 200L of water (5g for a 10L sprayer). Mix 0.28kg with 560L of water for 1 hectare. Spray the branches and leaves; apply 10 days before flowering. Do not use within 2 days before harvest. This helps the plants to flower early, produce many flowers, set more fruit; the fruit has good quality, preventing premature fruit drop and ensuring seed firmness. Chỉ số Shannon cao nhất ở sinh cảnh bản làng và nương rẫy (H = 3,08), tiếp đến là rừng thứ sinh (H = 3,03), thấp nhất ở rừng nguyên sinh (H = 0,66). Chỉ số Simpsons cao nhất ở rừng nguyên sinh (D = 0,46) và thấp nhất ở trảng cây bụi xen cây gỗ thứ sinh (D = 0,04). Chỉ số Margalef biến động từ 4,7 đến 11,5 trong đó cao nhất ở rừng nguyên sinh, thấp nhất ở bản làng và nương rẫy. Độ tương đồng cao nhất giữa rừng thứ sinh với bản làng và nương rẫy (SI = 73,93%), thấp nhất giữa rừng nguyên sinh với trảng cỏ thứ sinh (SI = 0,0%). Dimensions including head length, body length, tail length (cm) were determined on 15 individuals. Body weight (BW, kg) and average daily gain (ADG, g/head/day) from 2 to 12 months of age were determined on 30 individuals (20 females and 10 males). The results showed that the head, body and tail length of the civets increased gradually over the months of age. The average BW of the civets increased gradually over the months of age, in which the male civets had greater BW than those in the female civets at the periods of 7 to 12 months of age (P<0.05). The ADG of the civets increased gradually from 2 to 10 months of age, reaching the highest level at the period of 9-10 months old (12.72 g/head/day), then gradually decreased. The results showed that TN1 enhanced plant vigor, improved nutrient uptake, and increased resistance to major pests and diseases. Although the optimal treatment (CT4) supplied lower amounts of NPK than the chemical control (185.0–201.5 kg/ha N; 125.0–141.5 kg/ha P₂O₅; 155.0–160.5 kg/ha K₂O), TN1 still produced superior performance when applied at equivalent fertilization levels. Yield increased by 10.2–10.5%, and CT4 achieved the highest economic return, ranging from 327.259 to 336.814 million VND per hectare. Furthermore, TN1 improved the efficiency of N, P, and K utilization; enriched soil organic matter; and increased populations of beneficial microorganisms, thereby enhancing soil fertility and reducing risks of soil degradation and environmental pollution. The parameters were respectively 51,72% and 40,54% in the crosbred ♂ Boer x ♀ F1 (BT x Cỏ) goats, 50,03% and 39,05%, compared to 50,03% and 39,05% in the crosbred ♂ Jumnapari x ♀ F1(BT x Cỏ) goats. Drip loss percentage of longisimus dorsimuscle of crossbred groups were similar. Longissimus dorsimuscle area of crossbred ♂Boer x ♀ F1 (BT x Cỏ) goats were better than the crosbred ♂ Boer x ♀ F1 (BT x Cỏ) goats . Thí nghiệm được thực hiện trên 60 con bò, chia làm 2 nhóm, mỗi nhóm 30 con. Các chỉ tiêu sinh lý (thân nhiệt, tần số mạch đập, tần số hô hấp, nhu động dạ cỏ) được theo dõi trước và sau khi dùng thuốc 6 và 12 giờ. Hiệu lực tẩy sán được đánh giá sau 1, 3 và 6 tuần. Kết quả cho thấy cả hai loại thuốc được sử dụng đều an toàn và hiệu quả cao. In this study, we conducted experiments to study the effects of cutting length, cutting position and cutting season on sprouting, growth and seedlings for sale. The results showed that: The younger the cuttings, the longer the cutting length, the shorter the time for sprouting; the rate of cuttings with new leaves, the growth rate of cutting length, diameter, number of leaves, and the rate of seedlings for sale are higher. The highest rate of seedlings exported was in the formula of 10 cm long tip cuttings (90.0%), followed by 7.5 cm long tip cuttings (77.66%) and 10 cm long root cuttings (68.33%); the lowest was 5.0 cm long root cuttings (44.67%), followed by 7.5 cm long root cuttings (56.66%) and 5.0 cm long tip cuttings (63.33%). Results indicated that C uu da he so 1 and Thai Xuyen 111 stood out with greater plant height, strong tillering capacity, and superior dry matter accumulation, achieving the highest actual yields (8.25 and 8.02 tons/ha, respectively). Nhi uu 986 and Bac Thinh also produced fairly good yields, though further improvements in cultivation techniques are needed to maximize their potential. Meanwhile, ST25 and VNR20 had lower plant height and dry matter accumulation, making them more suitable for high-quality rice production or areas prone to lodging. The aim of the research was to identify a new cucumber variety with high yield, short growth period, and good resistance to pests and diseases. The research material included 08 cucumber lines selected and maintained from the local "Glutinous cucumber" variety. The experiment was arranged in a sequential planting schedule, testing each variety and line with three replications. Each experimental plot covered an area of 30 m², with planting distances of 70 cm x 40 cm. The plots were arranged using a completely random design (RCD). The research results led to the selection of the cucumber variety DL16X23, which exhibited high yield (45.31 tons/ha) with a probability confidence level P =95%.
